This site exists to help spread the message of healing and hope for those who have been a victim of spiritual abuse and/or bad church experiences. It is our goal to be a collective hub of resources and information.
Spiritual Abuse Recovery is designed to be a Network of like-minded sites, individuals and organizations that will come together to form an interconnected ring of resources.
Our logo, graciously designed by Emily Kerley www.stationerybyemily.com, represents our desire. The tree represents growth and maturity as we heal and recover from our abusive experiences. The circles represent interconnection and a never-ending circle of resources. The hands reaching out represent those who are helping the hurting and the hands reaching in represent those who are seeking help. The brightness in the middle represents our source of strength as we take this journey together.
We are a cohort of like minded individuals trying to make a difference. We are just getting started and have many plans, so check back soon.
Also, if you are interested, and you have a website related to spiritual abuse, please consider joining our webring to help spread the word about this topic. It’s free to join and it benefits both sites as we each gain back links that are so valuable to search engine rankings.
